Wilfred Ndidi Reveals – I Used to Hawk Groundnut and wash Windscreens



Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has disclosed that he sold groundnut and also washed car windscreens in Lagos before becoming a professional footballer.

Ndidi is a key player of Gernot Rohr’s team to the 2018 FIFA World Cup as he played an important role for the Super Eagles in the qualification series.

The 21-year-old has also been a top performer for Leicester City in the Premier League

In an interview with ESPN, Ndidi revealed that his path to success was not an easy one as he had to go through difficult jobs for sustenance in Lagos.

He said, “Sometime ago, I was a jack of all trade while my mum was selling, I’ll go and hawk for her. I sold different types of fruits and not even only fruit; I sold peppers, tomatoes, I sold groundnuts. Sometimes, they call me ‘omo elepa’. That is groundnut boy.

“And then sometimes, when I finish selling, I go to do a quick one for myself. I go for wiping glass of cars, cleaning and If I see I’m not making money, I can quickly go to buy pure water and start selling there.

Asides the selling of foodstuffs Ndidi did other jobs while hawking in traffic and revealed that it was to purchase a new pair of boots.

He said, “My best, I would say was making N3000. I finished selling so quick. I went to do the wiping thing for myself, just four different things I did in a day.

“I was so happy going home because I was saving to buy my football shoes.”

Ndidi has come along way since his formative years and is regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in the World Cup, and will be expected to play a key role for the Super Eagles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The man picked her up, took her home, gave her money and she went back to school. The man took her back to Accra when she completed school and rented a room for her.

She revealed the name of the man as Mr. Emmanuel Naah and she claims Mr. Emmanuel Naah never slept with her until she was 16 years.

Yvonne Nelson Blasts Critics – “You don’t feed me, so mind your business”



Yvonne Nelson has made it clear that Ghanaians should stop saying what they want her to do because she doesn’t collect food from them.

There were reports that her baby daddy broke up with her because she wanted a big wedding whiles Jamie Roberts wanted a small and simple wedding.

Those rumours started spreading after it was observed that they had deleted pictures of themselves on their various Instagram accounts.

Yvonne Nelson, who was on Joy FM reacting to that said that she has her personal life and so no one can dictate to her what she should do with her life.

“You are there saying what you want about my life. It’s my life, you don’t feed me, can you mind your own business? So role models cannot get babies out of wedlock? What if I don’t want to get married and I just need a supportive partner,” she told Sammy Forson on Joy FM.

On whether or not the rumours of the break up was true, Yvonne did not provide a concrete answer but indicated that they decided to take off photos of themselves from their business pages.
